Pradyumna is trained in the Delhi Gharana style, one of the ancient and common gharanas followed by today’s tablists. Founded by Ustad Siddhar Ali Khan in the 18th century, it forms the fundamental gharana of tabla, which emphasizes the use of gentle, soft and precise strokes. The Delhi tabla style is known for sounding delightful and subtle even when played in high speed.
In a career spanning over 20 years, Pradyumna has mastered the art of versatility by specializing in a broad spectrum of percussion instruments, along with the tabla. He plays Rhythm Pads, Dholak (Indian Folk Percussion), Phakawaj (Indian Classical Percussion), Congas (Cuban Percussion) and Bongos, Tumba (Latin Percussion) and electronic media. His talent in assorted instruments traverses many genres.
As an artist of many talents, Pradyumna is actively engaged in electronic music production as well. A few other skills mastered by Pradyumna include rhythm programming and arrangement techniques, both of which complement his music endeavours, thus enabling him to shoulder different roles. He is adept in the technical aspects of shaping sounds and uses new methods & modern technologies for producing superior results. His techniques involve creating, synching, editing and adding compositions, layers, percussion patterns & live mixes. In addition, he works on regulating modulations, transitions, electronic tones, etc., which altogether enhance the quality of the final product, be it music tracks, background scores or video clips. His works are either composed from scratch or developed in synthesizers to complement existing compositions.

Jayatheerha Mevundi, Ustad Taufiq Qureshi, Pt. Pravin Godkhindi, Vidwan Giridhar Udupa, Vidwan Arun Kumar, Sri Praveen D Rao, Vidwan Balabhaskar, and many more. Pradyumna is also an active member of the music fraternity within the Kannada Film Industry.
He is known for performing in Haadu Karnataka, a musical reality show. He feels proud and blessed for having performed with legendary playback singers like Dr P B Srinivas, Dr S P Balasubramaniam, Dr K J Yesudas, S Janaki, Hariharan, Ratnamala Prakash, Sangeetha Katti, M D Pallavi, Vijay Prakash, Hemanth Subramanya, Rajesh Krishnan, and many alike.
Over the last two decades, he has been a part of many prestigious events and music festivals. He extensively travels with music ensembles and fusion bands all across India and to countries such as USA, UK, Singapore, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Africa and more.
Pradyumna has contributed in enhancing the fervour of Bharathanatyam Arangetrums (a dance artist’s first stage performance) through tabla and rhythm pad as accompaniments. He often travels far and wide to support some of the established dance academies such as Aarathi School of Dance (Phoenix), Natyalaya School of Dance (Texas), Kalanithyam School of Bharatanatyam (San Franciso), Chitralekha Dance Academy (England) and many others for their exclusive dance projects.
